Walt Disney CEO Robert Iger and News Corp. President Peter Chernin are likely to talk with heads of the Screen Actors Guild and American Federation of Television and Radio Artists to outline a preliminary contract agreement as early as next week, Daily Variety reports. The top executives held similar meetings with Writers Guild of America leaders, which helped end that union’s strike last month, the newspaper says.
