ABC ordered three pilots, including comedies “Roman’s Empire” from “Malcolm in the Middle” writer Al Higgins, and “Never Better,” whose executive producers include Warren Littlefield and John Heyman, Daily Variety reports. A third, untitled pilot is a comedy from Kristin Newman, whose credits include “How I Met Your Mother,” the newspaper says.
