NBC’s refusal to interview Arianna Huffington during her book tour may be a result of a request from Tim Russert, whose “Meet the Press” was criticized in Ms. Huffington’s book, Web site DeadlineHollywoodDaily.com reports. Ms. Huffington, who has been invited to appear on CBS, ABC and CNN, has blasted Mr. Russert for not challenging the Republican administration, the Web site reports.

Sounds like the Peacock Web uses a double standard under Russert’s watchful eye. This means, I suppose, she couldn’t even guest host “SNL”? But Ann Coulter can guest on “Today”?
