Writer-producer Danielle Sanchez-Witzel of NBC’s “My Name is Earl” has signed a two-year, seven-figure deal with Universal Media Studios, the Hollywood Reporter says. Ms. Sanchez-Witzel will continue to serve as co-executive producer for “Earl” for the first year and while developing new projects for Universal both years. She joined “Earl” in its first season as part of NBC’s diversity writing program.
