NBC ordered a 15th and final season for “ER” while not re-signing “Scrubs,” which is likely to be picked up by ABC, Daily Variety reports. “ER” producer Warner Bros., which received as much as $13 million an episode a decade ago, likely took a reduced fee for the show, whose ratings have fallen since then, the newspaper says.
