Josh Weinstein and Bill Oakley, who worked on “The Simpsons” during its golden years, have been named executive producers of “Sit Down, Shut Up,” Daily Variety reports, an indication a series order is in the works. The toon, based on a live-action sitcom from Australia, was initially set up by “Arrested Development” creator Mitch Hurwitz with his producing partners, Eric and Kim Tannenbaum.
