Gus Johnson, announcer for CBS’s new mixed martial arts series, is taking lessons at a Brazilian jiu-jitsu academy to get closer to the sport, the New York Times reports. Mr. Johnson who has trained in boxing and kung fu, is a white belt when it comes to Brazilian jiu-jitsu. “We’re learning how to break a man’s shoulder, pop a man’s knee, choke a man to death,” he said.
