CBS has renewed “How I Met Your Mother” and “The Unit,” the Los Angeles Times reports. “How I Met Your Mother,” the youngest-skewing show on the network, is coming off a second appearance by ratings-boosting guest star Britney Spears tonight, the newspaper notes.
