CBS has dug up two movies shot years ago but never shown and plans to air them during the next three Saturday nights, when ratings are the lowest of the week, Daily Variety reports. “Vinegar Hill,” starring Mary Louise-Parker, was produced three years ago, while “Sybil” is an update from the 1976 film and stars Jessica Lange. The move comes because the network’s shortage of programming choices was exacerbated by the Writers Guild of America strike.
