Gibson May Extend ‘World News’ Contract

Charles Gibson, whose contract with ABC’s “World News” expires shortly after the presidential election, may extend his contract with the network, the New York Times reports. Mr. Gibson, 65, has been asked to stay longer and is currently in negotiations, the newspaper says.

  1. Selfishly, I hope Charlie still wants to work.
    I’m sure that financially he need never work again, but what a loss for us (and ABC) if he should choose to run for the hills.
    Whatever you choose to do, Charlie, I, for one, understand. May the outcome be fulfilling for you, whatever it turns out to be.

  2. Recently, Rush brandished video of Obama and Hillary Clinton and various Dems then it played clips from Ahmadinejad’s speech and pointed out that they both of them say the same things whenever dealing with United states of america and capitalism.

  3. Neither is easy. If you want to make money fast, avoid both. However, if you are willing to spend a couple of months learning the fundamentals, I think trading currency is a lot more fun and takes a smaller amount of capital to get started. Besides, the currency market is never sleep. While trading activities in New York may have stopped for the day, the Australian and Hong Kong markets are still widely awake and highly active. You can trade currency anytime you want, anywhere you live.
