NBC will ask for $3 million for 30-second commercial during the 2009 Super Bowl, the Wall Street Journal reports. NBC will boost rates about 10% from last year, or about double the usual rate increase, after Fox’s broadcast in February attracted a U.S. sporting-event record 97.4 million viewers, the Journal says.
