OpenTV announced that NBC Universal will expand its use of OpenTV Participate platform for interactive TV applications including Web, mobile and digital set-top boxes, Broadcasting & Cable reports. NBC Universal used OpenTV last year for the interactive element of “Heroes,” the newspaper says.
