Networks Push for Cheaper Reality Shows

Networks suffering from declining ratings are pushing reality-show producers to cut costs, the Hollywood Reporter says. Long thought of as the cheaper cousin scripted shows, reality shows may face shortened production shoots and exclusively indoor locales in order to reduce expenses, the newspaper reports.
