May 27, 2008  •  Post A Comment

British comedian Russell Brand (“Forgetting Sarah Marshall”) has been signed to host his own U.S. talk show in which he will interview A-list actors, the Sunday Mirror reports, citing unnamed sources. U.K.-based production company Box TV snapped up the comedian after he impressed TV executives during an appearance on “The Late Show With David Letterman,” the newspaper says. Eight episodes of the series have been ordered, the newspaper notes.

  1. This is way, way too soon. The promotion on this will be impossible to do. Sure, some people saw the movie and I really don’t know what the guy did on Letterman that was so noteworthy, but the question will be, “Who the hell is Russell Brand?” asked over and over throughout the living rooms of America.
I have nothing against the guy, it’s just hard enough to promote a talk show WITH a name host.

  2. Neat blog layout! Very easy on the eyes.. i like the colors you picked out
