Nielsen Media Research said yesterday it will move its sweeps to March from February next year to allow for viewer disruptions likely to be caused by the switchover to digital broadcasting on Feb. 17, the Hollywood Reporter says. About 9% of U.S. households don’t have a television that can process a digital signal while an additional 7% have televisions that receive over-the-air programming, the newspaper reports, citing Nielsen.
