Sunday’s episode of “Meet the Press” went on without the late Tim Russert with Tom Brokaw at the helm of the long-running newsmaker show, the New York Times says. Brokaw conducted several interviews during the show but stayed away from Russert’s signature investigative style, assuming a role as a temporary host rather than a replacement or competitor, the NYT says.
