Fox has ordered a pilot for Wilmer Valderrama’s “The Emancipation of Ernesto,” the Hollywood Reporter says. If Fox picks up the series, which follows Ernesto’s journey in Los Angeles to find his father, it would be the first in a one-hour comedy format on the network since “Alley McBeal.”
