Hearst-Argyle Television is conducting national polls on the presidential race and national issues for the first time, Broadcasting & Cable reports. The first poll, conducted by Franklin & Marshall College, showed that Sen. Barack Obama was leading Sen. John McCain by a margin of 42%-36%, the newspaper says. Hearst-Argyle TV owns 26 stations, the newspaper notes.
