The cancellation of “Men in Tree” by ABC is the latest example of a broadcast network mishandling a perfectly good series, the Los Angeles Times says. The show was moved from time slot to time slot, and put on hiatus to allow lesser shows to fail. “It’s hard to create appointment television when you keep changing the appointment time,” the paper says.
