Bryan Norcross, who has been providing viewers in South Florida with warnings about hurricanes for 20 years, is leaving WFOR-TV, Miami, to spend more time on his own, growing business, the station’s Web site reports. Mr. Norcross, who also worked for CBS News, became well known for his hours of coverage during Hurricane Andrew and is being succeeded as head of the station’s storm team by meteorologist David Bernard. Mr. Norcross’ new business provides technology services to local and state disaster agencies, the Web site says.
