Seattle’s KOMO-TV cancelled local entertainment and talk show “Northwest Afternoon” after 24 years on the air, the Seattle Post-Intelligencer reports. While the station initially gave no reason for the cancellation, a station’s spokesman later said it was dropped because of poor ratings because it airs opposite nationally syndicated shows “Dr. Phil” and “Rachel Ray,” the newspaper says.
