Negotiations between LIN TV and Charter Communications over the airing of LIN’s broadcast signal have stalled, Broadcasting & Cable reports. It is not expected that the two companies will reach retransmission-consent agreement, according to an announcement by LIN TV, the newspaper says. Charter likely will discontinue carriage of 11 LIN stations in Grand Rapids, Mich.; Green Bay, Wis.; Hartford-New Haven, Conn.; Springfield, Mass.; Dayton and Toledo, Ohio; and Providence, R.I., when the current contract expires on June 30, the newspaper notes.
