Myers, Composer of Show Themes, Dies

Farlan Myers, who spent six decades working both as an advertising executive and theme-song writer, died in Los Angeles at age 89, Daily Variety reports. Myers wrote jingles for such companies as Ford Motor Co. and Hunt Foods in addition to the theme song for the television series “Our Miss Brooks,” Variety says.
