The average median age of live viewers for the five broadcast networks reached 50 for the first time, putting it outside of the coveted 18-49 demographic, Broadcasting & Cable reports. The number dips slightly to 49 when live-plus-seven-day viewing data is taken into account, the newspaper says. CBS has the oldest median age for live viewing at 54, with ABC, NBC, Fox and The CW following behind at 50, 49, 44 and 34, respectively, the newspaper notes.
