ABC News will be cutting and moving a dozen “Nightline” jobs from Washington, D.C., to its New York headquarters, Broadcasting & Cable reports. The cut staff will be able to reapply for the positions in New York, but there is no guarantee they will get them, the newspaper says. A network source claimed the move is intended to facilitate ABC News’ shift to HD broadcasting in September, the newspaper notes.
