Obama’s Ad Spending Helps Stations

Many TV stations stand to benefit from Sen. Barack Obama’s recent decision to not accept public funds to finance his presidential election campaign, USA Today reports. The bigger budget, expected to go beyond the $84 million limit on publicly financed campaigns, will add several cities to the roster of important markets in which the campaign will buy ads, the paper says.
