Former KYW-TV Philadelphia anchor Larry Mendte, charged with hacking into former colleague Alycia Lane’s email account 537 times over five months, acted as though he was obsessed, the Philadelphia Inquirer says. Details of the investigation of the case show that he checked Lane’s email address every day in January and nearly every day after that. Mendte passed information from those emails to a Philadelphia Daily News reporter in an attempt to undermine her career, according to prosecutors.
