CBS Chief Executive Officer Leslie Moonves and former CBS News President Andrew Heyward agreed to testify in a lawsuit filed by former anchor Dan Rather against the network, the New York Times reports, citing attorneys involved with the case. Heyward will testify later this month while Moonves will give a deposition in September in response to Rather’s claim that, among other things, CBS’ removal of Rather damaged his reputation and hindered him from getting work, the newspaper says.
