A new survey issued by CBS Interactive found that 46% of online viewers watch episodes online as their primary form of TV consumption, the Hollywood Reporter says. Most of those viewers also said online viewing does not affect their TV consumption. CBS Interactive Senior Vice President of Research and Audience Analytics David Botkin said these viewing habits support the belief that online consumption is “complementary to broadcast viewing” and “drives awareness” of TV programming, the trade reports.
