Digital TV Switch Bill: $1.5 Bil

The agency administering the program that provides coupons to help ease the cost of buying converter boxes needed to make analog TVs work after the switch to digital signals said its $1.5 billion budget should be sufficient, Broadcasting and Cable reports. National Telecommunications and Information Administration chief Meredith Attwell Baker assured a House of Representatives Committee her agency could fund the coupons it needs to, B&C says.
