Fox Explores Split Pilot Season

Fox Entertainment president Kevin Reilly says Fox is moving forward with its plan to split the traditional pilot-screening phase into two, TVWeek reports in an exclusive video interview with the executive. Reilly says the shifted schedule for the upcoming TV season, greatly influenced by the WGA strike, has given the network a chance to explore two pilot development phases during the year, supporting Fox’s move toward year-round programming, Daily Variety says.
