After a nine-month absence, the popular NBC drama “Heroes” will return with a bang. The new season begins with two new episodes airing back-to-back at 9 p.m. and 10 p.m. on Sept. 22, the New York Times reports. Expect a big promotional campaign during the network’s Olympics coverage.

The writer’s strike made for a clunky ending to this show’s recent season. I hope they come back strong this year with some new and interesting heroes to complement the main characters.
