Obama’s Speech Spurs News Scramble

Jul 8, 2008  •  Post A Comment

Democratic presidential hopeful Barack Obama announced his official party nomination acceptance speech will take place in Denver’s 76,000-seat Mile High Stadium instead of the 21,000-seat Pepsi Center, where the rest of the convention is scheduled, TVWeek.com reports. The move has TV news outlets reorganizing their planned coverage, though most feel they are equipped to handle the shuffle, TVWeek says.
