All but two of the writers on the upcoming Fox animated series “Sit Down Shut Up” have agreed to new contract terms from their production company, Sony Pictures TV, the Hollywood Reporter says. Under the new contract, the writers will work under IATSE jurisdiction but receive compensation and residuals on par with WGA practice, the trade says. The two writers who chose not to come back include executive producer and co-showrunner Bill Oakley. The writing team originally walked out after Sony failed to have them work under WGA jurisdiction.
