The battle for ratings on Wednesday nights this fall will be a tight race, Media Life magazine reports. ABC’s Wednesday lineup of sophomore series is not expected to beat CBS in households and total viewers, but Carat’s Senior VP of Programming Shari Anne Brill believes ABC will challenge the Eye network in adults 18-49, the magazine says. Brill credits the “nice demographic flow” of ABC’s “Pushing Daisies,” “Private Practice” and “Dirty Sexy Money,” the magazine notes.
