Is creating 14 reality shows for eight networks a tough job? USA Today talks to producer Thom Beers, who has “America’s Toughest Jobs” premiering on NBC Monday night. Beers, whose other series include “Deadliest Catch” and “Ice Road Truckers,” says only two contestants on “Toughest Jobs” went back to their original cushy occupations after filming the series finished. Unfortunately, Tom Shales of the Washington Post, says there’s nothing much new about Beers’ new reality series.
