ABC’s “Ugly Betty” was named the best prime-time series at this year’s Imagen Awards on Thursday night, the Hollywood Reporter says. “Betty’s” Tony Plana was also recognized as best supporting actor in a TV series, in addition to receiving a Lifetime Achievement award. The awards, which recognize the accomplishments of Latinos in film and television, also gave several awards to the indie film “La Misma Luna,” including best picture, the trade says.
