Writers for ABC’s “Boston Legal” and HBO’s “The Wire” and “John Adams” are up for the 2008 Humanitas Prize in the 60-minute TV category, says the Hollywood Reporter. The Humanitas award honors writing that explores the human condition. Other television nominees include HBO’s “In Treatment” and “Bury My Heart at Wounded Knee” and NBC’s “Scrubs.”
