Viewers of digital television still are experiencing trouble with the sound quality of the signal, TVNewsday reports. Spikes in loudness between and within channels, as well as lip sync troubles, are common complaints, the Web site says. Dolby is working with cable companies and broadcasters to fix the volume problem, but fixing lip sync issues is a much more difficult situation, the Web site notes.
