Endemol has sold the breakout summer competition series “Wipeout” to 17 international territories, Daily Variety reports. Among the countries that have purchased the format are Spain, the Netherlands, Israel and the U.K., with different production companies debuting their versions later this year or early 2009, the trade says. ABC has renewed “Wipeout” for a second season in the U.S.
