NBC’s Matt Lauer will co-host the broadcast of the opening ceremonies of the Summer Olympics in Beijing with Bob Costas, the Hollywood Reporter says. NBC’s Andrea Joyce, Bob Neumeier, Richard Engel and Peter Alexander will join Costas and Lauer for the Aug. 8 broadcast, the newspaper reports.
