Newly minted “American Idol” judge Kara DioGuardi joined Simon Cowell, Paula Abdul and Randy Jackson at a round of auditions on the West Side of Manhattan, the Associated Press reports. Cowell talked about his new colleague being opinionated and “cute,” and added that with four judges on he show, “Paula will have to speak less.”
