ABC News’ longtime “Nightline” producer Leroy Sievers died on Friday after battling cancer for two-and-a-half years, Broadcasting & Cable reports. Sievers, who was 53 when he died, kept track of his battle with the disease for National Public Radio’s “My Cancer.” Prior to ABC News, Sievers also served as a producer and bureau chief at CBS News, the trade says.
