Viewers can expect music to play an important role in some of this fall’s TV series, Daily Variety reports. HBO’s new show “True Blood” and NBC’s returning program “Life” will rely on song choice to help heighten the mood and aid in the story telling. In “Blood,” the music will play a character as well, with the roadside diner in the show featuring a house band, the trade says.
