Aug 14, 2008  •  Post A Comment

A Georgian television news reporter suffered a minor wound from a Russian sniper’s bullet while she reported live from that country’s occupied town of Gori, London’s Evening Standard reports. Tamara Urushadze was in the middle of her dispatch when she was struck on her left arm by the bullet. Urushadze managed to continue reporting while her colleagues fitted her with a bulletproof vest and bandaged her arm. The South Ossetia region of Georgia has been occupied by Russian forces since Aug. 7.
