NBC News’ Andrea Mitchell has become the subject of scrutiny as she reports on the economic crisis because of the involvement of her husband, former Federal Reserve Board chairman Alan Greenspan, the Columbia Journalism Review says. Greenspan was at the helm for many of the decisions that led to the current economic climate and Mitchell has been careful to word some questions and commentary in ways that appear to disassociate Greenspan from current conditions, the CJR says.
