Fiorina Calls Fey ‘Sexist’

Sep 16, 2008  •  Post A Comment

Gov. Sarah Palin thought Tina Fey’s impersonation of her was “funny,” but former Hewlett-Packard CEO Carly Fiorina, an adviser to Sen. John McCain’s campaign, told MSNBC she thought it was “sexist,” TV Guide reports. “The portrait was very dismissive of the substance of Sarah Palin, and so in that sense, they were defining Hillary Clinton as very substantive, and Sarah Palin as totally superficial,” she told the network. The performance was “sexist in the sense that just because Sarah Palin has different views than Hillary Clinton does not mean she lacks substance,” she claimed.

  1. I was wondering if I was the only one who thought the portrayal was slanted towards Hillary. Don’t get me wrong-it was funny. But the sketch made it look like Palin brings nothing to the table. My question is, other than ambition, what does Clinton bring?

  2. ‘The sketch made it look like Palin brings nothing to the table.’ – because she doesn’t!
Sometimes comedy can tell the truth better than the news can. Sarah Palin has zero Foreign Policy experience, and that’s the reason that they keep her as far away from real interviewers as possible.
When an uncommitted female voter asked her about her foreign policy experience at a recent campaign event, she never actually answered the question. When tracked down and interviewed by NPR the female voter said she was disappointed in her failure to answer, and would probably vote for Obama now.

  3. hi,
what is your opinion for Wayne Rooney
Will he really leave Old Trafford?
because there is now speculation that the 24 year-old could be on the move. It really wouldn’t surprise me if he did move on after all that’s gone on. However it would need to be abroad if he was to avoid the British media.
