Fox Really Picks Up ‘Lie’

Fox has officially placed a 13-episode order for “Lie to Me,” a drama first announced during the network”s upfront presentation as a high-priority project, TelevisionWeek reports. The show stars Tim Roth as a behavioral investigator who can identify lies based on physical clues. “Lie,” an Imagine and 20th Century Fox TV project, is slated as part of the network’s hefty mid-season roster, which also includes Joss Whedon’s “Dollhouse” and Seth MacFarlane”s “The Cleveland Show,” a “Family Guy” spinoff.
