The season premiere of “Heroes” is as confusing as much of last season, while Simon Baker is effective as the title character in the new series “The Mentalist,” according to the Associated Press. Additionally, Jay Mohr helps make the new “Gary Unmarried” a “better-than-you-think” sitcom, the wire service says.

  1. I find the series as being refreshing as a autumn breeze. My daughter really enjoy it too. They have gone overboard on different run offs of Star Trek series and too much of reshowing of Law and Order series. When you get too the point of saying there is nothing on to watch after checking out about 300 or more channels, that’s getting pretty bad. I hope The Mentalist series doesn’t get cancel it’s really great.
