Los Angeles Times owner Samuel Zell is facing a lawsuit from some former and current reporters at the newspaper, the New York Times reports. The disgruntled employees claim that Zell was “reckless” in his actions involving the purchase of parent company Tribune Co. on behalf of its employees, the newspaper says. Since the takeover the Los Angeles Times has cut over 1,000 jobs and tripled its debt.
